CONSTRUCTION FEATURES
Inorganic Mica- Kelvin uses 100 percent inorganic Mica as insulating material, eliminating potential carbon contaminates found in most Mica binding agents. This allows MAX2000 to operate at higher temperatures and watt densities.
High torque post terminals- Standard post terminals feature unique posi-weld construction, which allows the terminal to be over-tightened without damaging or severing the resistance wire post connection.
High temperature lead wire- MAX2000 Mica insulated heaters feature 850° F (450° C) lead wire. This higher temperature rating prevents premature failure where the leads exit the heater. 250° C lead wire available upon request.
MAX2000 heaters can be custom made to fit specific applications. Holes, cutouts and custom features are designed and manufactured at Heatron.
