HEATROD PACKAGING MACHINE PUNCH HEATERS |
The built in design allows for more efficient transfer of heat to the punch
tip. A heat punched hole forms a bead, which adds strength to the hole when the plastic
film package is hung for display. This works particularly well with polypropylene films.
Internal thermocouples (Type J or K) can be provided at the tip of punch. The thermocouples used in conjunction with an electronic temperature control allow for accurate temperature control for faster production cycles and protects the heater from overheating if the machine stops. (Some form of temperature control should be used to prevent the heater from overheating).
Common Punch Heater utilize 1/4" diameter heaters with 5/16" or 3/8" diameter punches. Select 3/8" diameter heaters to provide a uniform diameter for the complete punch heater.
