HEATCOIL HEATERS

HEATCOIL heaters are small diameter, fully annealed and can be bent to a variety of shapes to meet specific heating designs. The coils may be coiled cylindrically or flat depending on the application. They can also be coiled to very small internal diameters which will provide heat 360 degrees in circumference. Kelvin can supply standard voltage and wattage combinations which can be coiled to a variety of internal diameters and lengths.

Typical applications include nozzles for hot runner systems, packaging equipment, medical and laboratory equipment, cast in heaters and air heaters.

FEATURES
  • The heaters can be coiled to provide Distributed Wattage along the length of the heater. This provides a more even heat profile.
  • The leads can exit on each end or on one end to provide easy installation and seal integrity.
  • The low mass of the heater allows for quick thermal response in both heating up and cooling down.
  • The heater can be shaped due to its annealed state.
  • Internal thermocouples are available which allow for control of the heater and the process.
  • Stainless Steel sheath materials provide corrosion resistance.
