Finned tubular heaters are designed for use in forced circulation, air or gas heating systems as ducts, fan forced electric heaters, recirculating ovens, loading resistors, etc.

Selection of a safe wattage rating depends upon air velocitis over heaters and the temperature of incoming air. Listed heaters have 10W/in2 density which must be checked with the graph below to determine suitability. Other watt densities are available for lower velocity or higher outlet temperature.
